The Waterfront
opened in May 2003 after an extensive refurbishment program to alter what was a local bakery over the turn of the century,
then developing into the Co-operative supermarket .
The restaurant was developed with a modern glass and timber
frontage bringing a stylish but contemperary note to Anstruther shore front.
The stylish theme continues inside, where the decor in
the bar and restaurant is dark chocolate complemented by oak panelling and natural slate floors, giving an overall effect
of luxury and comfort, but our main attraction thats draw customers back time and time again is our extensive menu.
If you wish, you may start your
meal with traditional cullen skink, featuring Scotland's wealth of top-quality fresh fish. This is a strong favourite
with the regulars to The Waterfront and not to be missed, however sweet chilli tiger prawns make an exciting alternative depending
on your mood, but everthing on the menu is cooked and presented to the highest of standards.
Our main courses include a wide range of dishes varying
from haggis stuffed chicken to Mexican fajitas, with many other tempting dishes in between!
The Waterfront seafood selection is surely there to impress
boasting freshly delivered fish from local markets including oriental scallops, citrus salmon, stuffed seabass, steamed
mussels and a true Scottish favourite that has stood the test of time;
good old Fish and Chips.
The Sweet Menu has a selection of delights to satisfy the most demanding lover of
chocolate, cream, fruits and cheesecakes etc,the only issue is what one to choose.
The Waterfront will provide you with a filling breakfast, a light meal
of our lunch specials, a hearty dinner or simply coffee.
We have something for everyone, making
The Waterfront a perfect location for dinner
for two or even a special family occasion, and ofcourse if you choose to stay that little bit longer we can accommodate
you in our cool and stylish 4 star en-suite guest rooms.
The Waterfront is proud to be a favourite with guests for near and far.
