Professional staff, friendly, helpfull and nothing was a problem. Breakfadt was a fantastic choice and so nice. I stayed for 2 nights.I was in room 6 and I did have to slide out the table next to bed with kettle and tea making bits to find a plug to charge my phone, sorry if I didn't see an easier one. I will return again in Spring. Thank you..

We stayed here as part of our wedding weekend and it was brilliant. We were given a stunning room with lots of light (which my hair and make up artists were very happy about! Alongside my photographer) and pretty views of the harbour. Staff were fab with me also :)

We had a lovely stay at The Waterfront. Bed was super comfy , room was cosy . Breakfast the next day was tasty , great selection and we both opted for veggie breakfast , which delicious. Friendly and helpful staff too !

Just back from a 3 day stay at The Waterfront and we're already discussing when we can come back.I'm a clean freak and our room was cleaned to within an inch of its life. Pristine. Room decor is georgeous. Rooms come with a great welcome tray and sky tv. Bathroom was very spacious, cosy warm, with luxurious white fluffy towels. Handwash in bathroom smelt divine. Nice shampoo and conditioner too. Breakfast was included and was superb. Loads of choice on the breakfast menu so we had something different every day.I'm confident you won't get a better breakfast anywhere. Also had a lovely meal in the restaurant at night, again, its a great menu. Loads of free parking across the road. Think it's free from October onwards. The Waterfront is centrally located for all Anstruther has to offer, so plenty of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Anstruther is a great place to visit and this is a fantastic place to stay. We will definitely be back.

Very impressed with facilities and great staff. One issue is weak WiFi but this may be a local problem.

Everyone was very welcoming and looked after us well, whilst the food and accommodation were excellent .The only negative point is the booking of the double bay window room is misleading as it is the only picture on the internet when booking . Although the picture is only an example, when booking you aren’t aware of this .As the similar issue arose in January this year, according to a trip advisor review, it is a pity that nothing has been done about it as then why leaving a review, if it isn’t taking into account .Anyway, thank you again for the last couple of days, we enjoyed it .Frederic

Just back from another lovely stay at the Waterfront. This was our second visit and cant wait to book again. Rooms are immaculate and the beds are really comfortable. The staff are lovely and cant do enough for you. We had torrential rain our first morning so stayed in our room and the housekeeping lady made sure we had enough tea etc to see us through the morning. Breakfasts are great with lots to choose from and the evening meals are deliciouswith lots of choice.

Very nice room and bathroom, extremely clean and comfortable. I appreciated the warmth and cosiness despite the cold outside. Breakfast very enjoyable. Superb value for money!

The staff are fantastic the rooms are superb and the cleaning staff do an amazing job keeping the rooms to a very high standard. My only disappointment is the Wi-Fi it’s not very good.

Once again we had a fantastic couple of nights,this time in room A. The room was warm and comforting and quiet. Perfect for the colder darker nights.The food was as usual superb.... the waterfront burger has to be the best burger we have had.The staff, everyone of them, are just so nice. They feel like friends now.The minute we leave we are looking forward to our next visit.Our favourite place in our favourite part of the country.

I visited Anstruther for the first time with my Mum and Uncle. Beautiful large and very clean rooms, perfectly decorated and furnished! Lovely bathroom with separate bath and shower unit.Food in restaurant wonderful, staff SO friendly and helpful!Great value for money.Will definately stay again if possible as just such a wonderful, happy experience for us all.Thanks so much to the staff also when we had to keep our luggage stored for a few hours after checking out due to issues with my Uncles car!Lovely staff from room cleaning staff to restaurant/reception!Well worth a visit❤️

The room was warm, large and well equipped. The staff were lovely all very friendly and extremely helpful. The situation of the premises is excellent and nearby all shops and restaurants and town centre. The only problem was lack of internet and phone signal but this is a problem in the whole area. Overalla very pleasant and enjoyable experience I would recommend.

Great accommodation in Anstruther !We stay 1 night with our 3 kids and the location and the room were perfect !Go for it.

As usual, we were not disappointed. Even the weather was fascinating to watch.The waves were spectacular(29th October).Our room (A) was very roomy, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was something we always look forward to and it lived up to our expectations.We will beback

We have stayed in Anstruther before First time here. Sea view room with everything you could want.We dined in the restaurant on the evening. Food was amazing. Marie loved the seabass. Great breakfasts and very good service.

My husband and I stayed at The Waterfront in Anstruther for 3 nights.We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here.The rooms are of a high standard and bed very comfortable.A good shower too.Staff in restaurant were very nice.We had dinner in the restaurant two nights and it was very nice.The breakfast in the morning is excellent.The housekeeping staff were lovely and gave us some advice re our coastal walk.We hope to return in the summer to stay here again.

Very comfortable accommodation attached to restaurant with very good breakfasts and good selection of well cooked meal menus at other times. Staff very pleasant, efficient and helpful.Only complaint was the extremely irritating intermittent WiFi which would frequently randomly cut out and require you to sign in multiple times. The mobile signal was very poor so WiFi is a major guest requirement. The staff were aware and said they hoped the service would be corrected with new phone connections soon as it affected all of them too.

We came to the Waterfront as a family because we were going to a wedding that was at a venue close to Anstruther.The staff were very accommodating and understanding when we arrived late for dinner on the Friday because of the extreme weather.The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.I would highly recommend a stay at the Waterfront.

The accommodation was very clean and well maintained.The breakfast was excellent. The food in the evening was very good. The young waitressing staff were very attentive and pleasant. A very enjoyable break.

Everything about our 2 night stay was great, even though we visited in the middle of storm Babet !! The room was clean, spacious and the bed was more than comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and the choice was very good. Dinner at night was from a substantial menu that catered for all choices - Our meal was one of the best we've had for a while. Finally the staff were very friendly and attentitive. we will defo visit again.

Our stay was great from our arrival to departure. Staff are just lovely and nothing was too much bother for them.Our room was modern, roomy and absolutely spotless. A great sized bathroom with both shower and bath. Very comfortable bed and room was pleasantly warm.Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Booking for evening meal in the restaurant is advisable as it is very popular. Will definitely be back with friends in tow.

Had a wonderful break in Anstruther and staying at the Waterfront. Everything was perfect and would return again soon.

Excellent accommodation in a great location. Restaurant meals were high quality and staff friendly and helpful. Only minor gripe was the non-existent wifi and the lack of parking during the day (we stayed at the weekend and even though it’s out of season the place was very busy).

Once again our stay was fantastic. The room (harbour view) was warm and cozy,perfect for the Autumn temperatures. Great,friendly,approachable staff who couldn't do enough for you.The food, from breakfast to evening dinner, is quite simply magnificent.It's no wonder we keep going back, and back again..See you all again in November.

This is the second time I have stayed here and it doesn’t disappoint- rooms are lovely, food is excellent and the staff are great.

We have been here before.The standard of the room is top top.There are a lot of stairs which might be a problem for some people.It is a really lovely place to stay on the Main Street opposite the sea

Comfortable clean room located in the rear courtyard which was quiet, great sleep.Ate in the restaurant for breakfast and evening meals which were excellent. Service was great too. I will definitely return.

Stayed at Waterfront on a short break.Lovely room, well furnished, comfortable bed and en suite facilities.Good choice on brekfast menu.Anstruther was ideal as a base to visit St Andrews and explore coastal villages and walk the coastal path.No onside parking but ample space in the public car park which is free from 1 October.

Ideally situated location, public parking close by (and free at the time of our visit). Room very comfortable and well appointed - although minor inconvenience of slow internet, also requiring frequent logging back in. Restaurant excellent, with prompt service from efficient staff. Inclusive breakfast with good choice on menu, as well as extensive options for lunch and dinner if required. Well worth a visit.

Just back from a three night stay. We were in a room in an attached building to the rear. It was very modern, clean and well appointed. There were no views to the sea but for us that was no issue as we spent all day outside. There was a walk-in shower with plenty hot water. We had single beds with duvets but these could have been wider as when turning we found ourselves needing to reposition the devet several times during the night.The restaurant also modern was attractive with plenty outside light. On the first morning we had USA style music from the seventies which was too brash and too loud for 8 o'clock in the morning!The breakfasts and evening meals were superb with very attentive staff. We look forward to returning.

We had a great time at The Waterfront - the room was spacious and well-equipped and the staff were very helpful. The food was first class.Anstruther has a beautiful harbour and an interesting museum. It also makes a good base from which to explore the area.

I wasn’t expecting anything above average from a small hotel in a very old building in a rural Scottish town. Wrong! My room had everything you hope to have; clean, a comfortable bed, huge TV, full bathroom,tea, coffee, water and even some shortbread. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious and offered plenty of choice. The staff are all well trained and extremely welcoming and pleasant. If you plan to be in Anstruther, stay at The Waterfront.

What a little gem on the waterfront in Anstruther! Arrived early as was attending a wedding and my room was unexpectedly ready which allowed me to get settled. Lovely single bed room with all facilities and great en suite. Breakfast included in thei restaurant which was very quick and delicious! Would stay again for sure.

We very much enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Waterfront.Our room was very comfortable,all meals were excellent and the staff were very friendly and efficient.We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Had a very nice stay,room was spotless,only thing I could mention is the smell on the bedding from the softener,sometimes a little is enough,far to strong.Great breakfast,better choice than some 4 star hotels I've stayed in,all in all,staff very nice and will definitely be back for a 4th stay.

We had been before so knew what to expect from room D, the best room ever for views. We sat at the windows for ages just watching the world go by. The room is huge, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and it was delicious as was the breakfast on the two mornings we were there. The young staff were very polite and attentive.The only slight problem was the noise the cleaner made at 6am, a lot of rattling about with the keygetting in the door and then the noise of chairs and tables getting put outside, as the restaurant doesn't open till 8am there didnt seem much point in doing this the back of 6? It wouldn't put us off room D though as it is definitely our favourite.

I was disappointed that I didn’t get the harbour room with the 2 windows as when I booked that was the one that I thought I would get as it was displayed.I did get a harbour view room and it was very nice, but I can’t pretend that I wasn’t disappointed.My husband and I were there only for bed and breakfast which was excellent,……..great choices.we also ate there on three occasions for dinner which was good ,but felt the prawn cocktail could be improved by using a better grade of prawn.I would definitely recommend the soup,……..it was wholesome and delicious.

My father stayed here along with the majority of my friends for my wedding in nearby Crail.Having booked it for my father I was delighted that he enjoyed it and I heard many good things about nice breakfasts and spacious rooms from my friends too.We had a big family lunch the day after the wedding and the food and service was excellent.

The room and bathroom were large, newly and nicely refurbished, comfy and quiet.The food was excellent and the portions generous. We had dinner and breakfast.The staff, especially Jude, were all very friendly and polite.WiFi in the village is weak which was the only very minor grievance.

Had a lovely stay, hotel was lovely, service was great throughout, especially at dinner and breakfast.Both rooms suited our needs brilliantly.Only wee bit of feedback was the information pre check in stated if our room was available when we arrived we would be able to check in.The colleague didn’t check and stated check in was not till 1430.

Beautiful room with Harbour view, excellent shower (and a bath) with shampoo AND conditioner, fantastic breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff who looked after our baggage. We really enjoyed our stay at the Waterfront. From the moment we arrived staff were amazing, from the young man who took us to our room to the staff in the main dining area. Our room was perfect, very comfortable, spotless clean and had everything we needed. Food was amazing both at dinner and breakfast, again staff were attentive and conscious of any dietary requirements we had. Keep doing what you do Waterfront, we'll be back to stay with you again.

We had never stayed in The Waterfront Hotel before but would be extremely happy to do so again. We had Room D with views over the harbour. The staff were extremely friendly and most helpful. The food in the restaurant was superb. Obviously the restaurant is very popular as on both evenings they were full.A lovely two day break for us. Thank you.

A great base to stay to explore this lovely part of Fife. We enjoyed the large room (A) and the large bathroom, with plenty of storage. Mostly quiet despite the central location. Our dinner there was very good, as were the three breakfasts with plenty of choice, friendly service from the young team. Only complaint might be the slowness of the Wi-Fi.

The Waterfront was a good location in anstruther. We had booked for two nights but unfortunately we had to leave after one night. A family emergency meant we had to go home. We were disappointed that we were charged for two nights stay.We asked and were given a credit for another 1 night stay in the future.We will go back..

Excellent overnight stay with elderly mother.Room 7 Bakehouse was very spacious,well appointed, seemed newly refurbished and comfortable.Had a seat in the sunny courtyard. Enjoyed dinner in restaurant- quality food, big portions and good service.Often stay in hotels and have to say I had one of the best breakfasts I 've had for a while.Opted for Scottish breakfast which was cooked to order and piping hot Will be back!

Hotel was a standard 3 star and house keeping was really good Our room had no point for electric razor and no point for mobile phone that was the only issueBut what made this hotel 4star was the food Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and the dinner was really good too. Would recommend this hotel as it is in a good location and staff are very accommodating .

We stayed 6 people in 3 rooms at the Waterfront. The newly remodeled rooms were perfect . The staff made the check in/out easy.Nice and cozy atmosphere at the hotel in combination with touring the Anstruther-St. Andrew’s area.Absolutely recomendable.

Great place, friendly attentive staff, the room was a great size, immaculate, quiet and beautifully decorated. A real home from home. Evening meal was great, as was the breakfast.

The room and service was nice, although it was a bit warm under the roof of the Granary. We really enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners at the restaurant. The location was a great choice for exploring Fife by foot, boat and car.

We enjoyed very good accommodation and food, at a great location on the harbour. Cheek by jowl with the shops and other restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was two flights up, so it's easier coming down than going up! Would recommend.

First time in Anstruther, the initial meeting in the restaurant was very welcoming, shown to my room.The room was very clean, everything l would need for my three night stay.Breakfast was excellent, with such a varied choice of menu, very good service. Dinner was excellent, again a good choice, very reasonable priced.No negatives at all.(except for the stairs),Would l return, Yes most definitely.

Everything was perfect. From the moment I arrived to check in, the girl who showed me to my room was lovely. The room was immaculate and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and the food was of an excellent standard. Both the young people who served breakfast were very friendly, professional and attentive.I would recommend the Waterfront to anyone and I will definitely be back.

As always at the Waterfront, the staff were both helpful and polite, attending to all our requests with a smile. The breakfast menu choice was excellent, and the evening meals were both delicious and reasonably priced. Our room (D) is one of the best we have ever experienced, fantastic view of the harbour, and a great size, really comfortable. We have already booked for 2024!

Harbour view room not available during our visit but our room was large and very comfortable off a pleasant courtyard. Food in the restaurant was delicious but book to be sure of a table as very popular. Wide variety on the breakfast menu and all the staff are very pleasant and helpful and service is excellent. Can thoroughly recommend a stay here

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. We haven't visited this part of Scotland before but the waterfront was a great location. Breakfasts are delicious with lots of choice. Evening meals in the restaurant were also good. Plenty of parking in the 2 car parks by the harbour.

We stayed for one night (9/7/23) as we were going on the boat trip to the Isle of May as part of my husband's birthday celebrations.We really couldn't fault The Waterfront at all.We stayed in Room 1 in The Granary and it was absolutely spotless.Comfy bed, good shower and very quiet as it didn't face the main street.We had our evening meal in the little courtyard the first night and the following night we had booked a table inside on our return from the boat trip.Both meals were fantastic and very reasonably priced.The service was outstanding - your staff are excellent.No dogs are allowed which is brilliant as I am asthmatic and have eczema which is affected by animal hair.It is so hard to find somewhere these days that is not pet friendly so well done!We'll definitely be back and will stay longer the next time!

This was our 3rd visit this year,5th July,have already booked another one for September, says it all really,everyone of the staff are so welcoming, nothing's a bother,as they say,it's all in the training,rooms are spotlessly clean,better than most of the 4 star hotels we've stayed in,only complaint is the softener they use on the bedding,far to strong,less is more please😊,oh,and great choice on the breakfast menu,again,better than most hotels,looking forward to September. ❤️

We absolutely loved our room at The Waterfront, we are a family of 5 with 3 little ones and had a room with double bed, bunk beds and cot. It was spacious and well thought out, the bathroom has a bath which is great for kids! Oh and amazing breakfast which was included

We stayed over a weekend at this fantastic hotel. The rooms are off a small well presented court yard situated behind the restaurant. Staff were very professional. Rooms clean and confortable. The breakfast menu choices are excellent, smoked Haddock was cooked and presented very well. The restaurant was very busy, however the staff were attentive and professional. Steak was cooked to perfection. Even if you are not staying here a booking for breakfast, lunch and dinner is recommended.

From arrival to departure our stay was excellent.We were shown our room by a very pleasant and helpful young man (sorry I didn’t get his name). The room was spotless.The shower was amazing, never stayed in a hotel where the water was so hot! Meals were very good and again staff very attentive.

As the standard of a review as it gets, the hotel is great. The room was clean and spacious enough. The staff was friendly. The location is easy to find and access.The only thing that brings it down from 5 to 4 stars is that the wifi was atrociously bad. Borderline unusable. This is an important point to consider as Anstruther seems like a black spot on the mobile data network so you are very reliant on wifi options.

We stayed for 1 night but should have stayed longer.The room was spotless, well proportioned & equipped.We ate at the venue too and the food was delicious.Highly recommend this venue.

This was our third stay at the Waterfront and it was as good as ever. Staff are so friendly rooms are really nice and food is excellent. It’s in a really good position looking out over the water and so relaxing to sit outside on a warm day. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful overnight stay in the Waterfront after a wedding at Falside Mill, Kingsbarns. Staff and accommodation at the Waterfront were excellent, friendly and professional. The accommodation was lovely and very comfortable. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and served with a smile. Thoroughly recommend if you’re visiting the East Neuk!!

The room was very clean and silent but spotless.

We stayed only 1 night,but wished we had done 2 or 3.The harbour view room we had was simply superb.Very clean,spacious and with a great view of the Harbour.The food in the restaurant was superb,and very reasonably priced given the quality and selection.The staff were very attentive and helpful.We had a lovely time and would have stayed longer if we could.I guess the best recommendation is that the waterfront will be our place of choice next time we are in the area.

Rooms are excellent.However, if you are elderly or infirm ensure you ask for a lower floor rooms.Stairs are somewhat steep.Parking is not easy - particularly when there is an event on in the town.Highly recommended

What can you say, the harbour rooms are beautiful and spotless, staff were very courteous food was excellent,very busy as it was the harbour festival,5 stars from us.

The Waterfront is indeed situated right by the harbour at Anstruther. While this is a very attractive location enabling us to stroll around the town it meant that on arrival we had to park some distance away from the hotel. This was only a minor issue however as we had a very spacious room with a large TV and very comfortable bed. We had a lovely dinner served with excellent beer and wine and a superb breakfast in the morning. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Not sure what else to stay really. Anstruther is a pretty port in the East Neil of Fife. The Waterfront is a great place to stay near the water. We had room B. The house with rooms is just to the side of the restaurant and has been fully refurbished. Our room (B) had a comfy bed and good sized bathroom. We didn't look out onto the port but that was fine. It was quiet and restful. The only minor gripe was that the window blind doesn't cut out the might too well and, because we're so far north, it was light at 3am and we woke up!We ate in the restaurant in the evening and for breakfast (included in the price) and both were fresh and tasty. No problem in going back to eat there many times! We had a very enjoyable, if short, stay and we thoroughly recommend it.

We ejoyed our stay in this really nice place. Everything was new, comfortable and of a cosy modern style. The breakfast was of very good quality in the nice restaurant were we also had a wonderful dinner.

We had a great 5 nights in the Waterfront. The room was spacious,modern and very comfortable.A great location for coastal walks with stunning scenery. All staff were very friendly and efficient .We ate in the restaurant every night which had a good choice. Breakfast options were excellent.

This stay was the final night of our 9 day tour of Scotland with a private guide. Check in was easy and I was delighted to learn that our room was only a few steps above ground level in a quiet area in the back of the hotel as we had requested. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with enough choices to satisfy the tow of us plus our guest, and had a restful sleep on a comfortable bed. Bathroom was gorgeous and very clean.Breakfast was served in the restaurant (not a buffet) and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers.

Took my 83 year mum to The Waterfront for her birthday. She had a great time. The rooms were very good. There was also a great range of food of a high quality both for the breakfast and the evening meal.

We both thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay. The room was in a great location, great size, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast and food available at The Waterfront was good.The only negative I would say is that the website implies that there is free parking available with the Hotel but that is not the case. However, it did not affect our stay but might be useful for guests to know upfront incase they are not able to carry luggage any distance. We had a lovely short break with friendly staff and very lucky with the weather.

I have stayed at the hotel several times in the past.Also my husband and I stayed a few times before his death in 2020. My friend and I have visited many times over the years and stayed in rooms 6 & 8. My daughter was with me this time and thoroughly enjoyed her visit. The food in the hotel is excellent both the breakfasts and evening meals.

I spent two nights here.Unfortunately, I was rather unwell when I woke on the first morning.The hotel staff were great and looked after me very well making sure I had everything I needed to stay comfortable and recover.By the second morning I was fine and able to carry on with my touring holiday.I am very grateful for how they took care of me.

I thought our room was lovely and it was clean I would defo be back as I like the area but when I book next time I would make it clear I can’t do stairs as I have a problem with my legs and after a lovely dinner downstairs and then going upstairs I was so sick as the stairs were too much

Our room was very clean and comfortable.The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.The only fault we found was that on day two (Friday 21st April) the full breakfast was disappointing as it was overcooked.Otherwise we were very happy with our time at The Waterfront.

I had a lovely, relaxing overnight stay. The bed was very comfortable and fantastic being on the second floor. Breakfast was tasty and I had vegetarian choice. Lovely bubble bath and power shower. I had fish super from wee chippy as dreel tavern was closed. Tasty fish n chips and good value. A pleasant stay and coastal walks.

Accommodation was modern, exceptionally clean and tidy with all necessary facilities, Sky and Netflix channels. Bathroom was beautiful and modern. Food was good and the menu extensive, including a very extensive breakfast menu catering for all tastes, all of which were freshly cooked to order. The staff were charming and keen to provide your every need quickly and efficiently and generally “ran the extra mile”. We had a very pleasant few days and look forward to coming back. Stayed only one night, wished we had stayed longer. Five Star accommodation, modern, spacious with lovely furnishings.Superb breakfast, I had Kippers that were the real deal!The team serving us were delightful.We missed our dinner booking with the restaurant which was very embarrassing. Everything was excellent .we had a harbour view room.Thefood was great and the staff were wonderful a waitress called Louise especially.We are elderly and she helped us to carry things upstairs

We had a lovely weekend at The Waterfront to attend a family wedding in the area. The staff were very accommodating from the outset and throughout our stay. We had a larger family room that would easily accommodate a family of five and had separate areas giving everyone plenty of space to move around the room. The facilities and finishing touches in the room were the highest quality and made for a very relaxing stay for everyone involved. We ate breakfast twice in the restaurant as well as dinner on one of our nights stay and all of the meals we had were excellent. An enjoyable stay all round and would not hesitate to book again.

Fabulous 2 night stay at Waterfront end March 23.Accommodationall appeared recently renovated to a high standard.Our room (A) was much larger than expected and bathroom had shower and bath.Nice little extra was bath soak included along with usual shampoo etc, which came in very handy after a long Ali along part of beautiful fife coastal walk.Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and huge portions.We ate in restaurant 1 night and weren’t disappointed.Would def recommend and hope to return again soon.

Our room was v comfortable with a large bathroom with both shower and bath. It had a large tv and access to various subscription channels such as Netflix which was great!

We recently stayed at the Waterfront in Anstruther.We had the room with the harbor view.The room was terrific.Large and spacious.We had dinner and breakfast at the the Waterfront.The food was great.This was our favorite accommodation during our stay in Scotland.

My stay was lovely and comfortable, bed was cosy .Only thing that wasn’t great was not managing to get a table for one even tho there was lots of empty seats when I arrived . I was actually coming to review your food as I’m a chef so was really disappointed.

We stayed in the Waterfront on 26th &27th March 2023. We were delighted to find such a gorgeous place in a beautiful location. Room was splendiferous calm and just the right size. Bathroom,wow I want one like this beautifully done and spacious. Food in the restaurant was tasty and generous. Well we both rather overindulged but that's what holibobs are for. Great staff, friendly and helpful.Perfect away days. If I could find a negative...."The loo roll"a bit too thin, (sorry) otherwise perfect, would highly recommend without delay. We spent a fabulous weekend at the Waterfront Restaurant AnstrutherWe were in the superior room which had amazing views over the harbour and beyond.The room was huge, very clean and tastefully decorated with good quality toiletries in the bathroom.The food was also amazing Especially the seafood, it was so fresh and the portion sizes were generous.I can't leave a review without mentioning the staff, who were all very professional and genuine.I can not review this place any more highly except to say we will return.

There’s very little to complain about here.Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and good food in a great location.I’d think parking could be a snag in the high season and as the rooms are separate from the restaurant/cafe, in bad weather the 20 yards between could be wet!But minor points.We enjoyed our 3 night stay.
